I am a firm believer in fractal magic. Every interaction that you view has behind it an endless array of small, seemingly unimportant decisions, choices, voices. And yes, what we see in a seemingly small exchange between two people at the grocery counter you may see in a larger landscape on the evening news. I was swimming in the public pool the other day and watched a large outburst between two swimmers over whether or not there should be talking while you were swimming. In seconds it escalated into insults and shouting, neither person wanting to back down as they shouted at one another over floating lane markers. And I thought, oh, great, the conflict of the middle east has come to the swimming pool. What we see in the small, little things, we see in larger form and visa versa. So, indeed, our small exchanges, and little voices will bear out in the larger arena.
World peace is fought out in the individual heart. If we can't have peace in the swimming pool, it is unlikely we will have it in the larger arena.
I absolutely love this concept and believe it with all my heart Maddie. It was timely too! Thanks for sharing. 💜
